Welcome to the Peleg Lab
Unlocking the mysteries of ageing and searching for interventions to extend a healthy human life span
We are interested in the role of the metabolism - epigenetics connectivity during early ageing, response to stress and cognitive impairment. We combine behavioural experiments in mice and flies with state of the art mass spectrometry and biochemical tools to assess metabolic and epigenetic alterations that contribute to the onset of the ageing process and associated cognitive impairment. We aim to pursue novel, preventive therapeutic avenues to increase a healthy human life span. The lab is located in the FBN institute at Dummerstorf, Germany.
